DanceWorks Showcase Performances
How does it work?
Anyone within the level range of the routines listed is invited to register and participate! Showcase performances have roughly 6 weeks of rehearsal prior to the performance.
We do not have any performance opportunities for absolute beginners at this time. Dancers should aim to have at least 6 months of consistent dance class attendance before joining beginner level routines.
All performances are self-placement based. The studio reserves the right to move students to other routines for the students’ benefit, fitting with their level of competency, before the 2nd week of rehearsals and/or will offer the student a full refund if the piece is not a good fit for them. Rehearsals
No need to set aside your entire life for months!
We host ~6 workshops for you to learn and perfect your choreography to then perform in the studio for friends and family – and the camera, of course!
Getting tickets
Spectator Tickets for all Showcase Performances go on sale 2 weeks prior to the performance date
Tickets are $10 + fees. Lap children 2 and under are free.
The Performances
All performances happen twice on the performance date. The schedule for the day of performance is as follows:
- 12:45 PM - Dancer Call Time
- 1:00 PM - Tech & Dress Rehearsal
- 2:30 PM - First Performance
- 4:00 PM - Second Performance
Should both performances sell out, we may work with the dancers to add a 3rd performance.
